Welcome

I am a Chapel Hill therapist and President-Elect of the American Academy of Psychotherapists and have been in practice for over 20 years. I work with adults to develop a partnership for exploring ways to live a fuller, more quality filled life. I am LGBTQ+ and culturally affirming. I believe all of us can benefit from psychotherapy to develop a deeper understanding of ourselves and the human condition. Finding meaning in our lives helps us cope with the inevitable suffering we experience on our journey.  Being open and compassionate towards suffering opens our awareness and hearts to the joy, beauty, and meaning which life can bring which helps us have the full human experience.

I truly love the work I do and am a warm, nonjudgmental, compassionate person who values developing a genuine connection to join in discovering what is meaningful and fulfilling in one's life.
